Over 600 elephants are currently living in captivity across Europe. We are working with zoos, circuses and governments to offer a home to those in need.

 

Elephants retired to Pangea will have the freedom to roam within an expansive, natural habitat whilst also receiving expert, individualised care.  

 

Our management approach is informed by captive elephant experts and wild elephant biologists, including those from other large-scale facilities around the world who have helped captive elephants adapt to more expansive environments. We will also work closely with the former keepers of each new arrival to ensure a smooth transition.
