World Animal Protection Joins Pangea
We are delighted to announce that World Animal Protection has become a member of Pangea.
World Animal Protection is one of the world’s leading animal welfare charities and they are renowned for their impact in places like Thailand where they work to combat elephant exploitation in the tourist trade. They join Born Free, Fondation Brigitte Bardot, and Olsen Animal Trust in committing substantial financial and strategic support throughout our first critical years of development.
Gitte Buccave, CEO for World Animal Protection Denmark, said, “There are zoos and circuses across Europe that would like to rehome their elephants, and this is why a large-scale sanctuary solution is desperately needed. We are most impressed with Pangea’s vision, strategy and plans and we are honoured to support them in their mission to help Europe’s elephants in need.”
