Vasco Soeiro joined us in January and has already become an invaluable addition to the team. Originally from the local town of Vila Viçosa, Vasco moved to Lisbon to complete his degree in agronomical engineering and recently returned to the region with his wife and four children to continue with his agricultural businesses.
He is passionate about sustainable land management and has a wealth of local knowledge which is helping enormously as we move ahead with our site development plans.
His grandfather coincidentally owned one of the three farms that now make up Pangea, and he is also a World Championship rower!
We would also like to express our thanks to Francisco Serra, his wife Maria and his daughter, Claudia, who kindly stayed on as caretakers of the site until Vasco was in a position to take over. We look forward to welcoming them to visit in the future.
